StarterPhone is a parental tool that limits which apps a child's iPhone can open. It is built to collect as little as possible: in plain terms, we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
Nothing leaves your device. StarterPhone has no account, no login, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. Your settings (the allowed apps, schedules, and the parent passcode, stored only as a salted hash) live on the device.
StarterPhone uses Apple's Family Controls (Screen Time) technology to shield apps. App selections are handled by the system as opaque tokens; we never see which specific apps you choose, and this information is used solely to enforce the lock on your own device for your family's wellbeing. It is never sent anywhere or used for any other purpose.
StarterPhone is used by parents to manage a child's device and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
